Ropren, Siberian Red
The vast forests of the Taiga travel around the globe and contain a third of the worlds trees. Russian Taiga forests represent the largest forested region on Earth (approximately 12 million km2).
Evergreen conifers dominate the landscape, and it is these pristine, wild and powerful species that supply the pine and spruce needles that make up Bioeffectives.
In Tomsk, Sibex, a wholly owner subsidiary of Prenolica has constructed the world’s first facility for the production of polyprenols on a commercial scale. (Photo below)
Tomsk, a major educational and research centre, is home to some of Russia’s top universities. It boasts 151 researchers per 10,000 employed people. This compares with 69 throughout Russia, 55 in the UK and 61 in the USA. The Siberian State Medical University in Tomsk is one of our important Research and Development partners.
This facility also produces Bioeffective I (Siberian Red) from the sap of the Siberian Fir.
The pharmaceutical “Ropren” – Bioeffective R (high grade polyprenols) and bulk volume prenols (polyprenols at a lower purity) for supply to 3rd parties are manufactured.
In Vyshny Volochok CGNC is produced, the raw material that makes up Bioeffective A.
CGNC is provided in bulk for 3rd parties. In addition, Bioeffective A is manufactured from bulk product in Australia by Solagran with TGA registration for domestic and international markets.
Bioeffective I is also manufactured as finished goods for supply to 3rd parties.
